Construction on Edens Expressway Starts April 4
The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) has announced the second phase of construction on the Edens Expressway (I-94)
starts April 4 and will last until late September 2008. Lane reductions in both directions are scheduled from Lawrence Avenue in Chicago to Lake Cook Road in Highland Park. Left lanes will be closed for bridge rehabilitation and road patching from April 4 to mid-summer and there will be nightly lane closures for asphalt paving from mid-summer to the end of September.
