Paying Water Bills Is Easy with Direct Debit
The Village Finance Dept. has introduced a free and easy way to pay your water bills - direct debit. Instead of writing a check, buying postage and mailing your check or driving over to the Village Hall to drop it off, when you sign up, your checking or savings account is directly debited for the amount you owe. To get started, just fill out the enrollment form available online
by clicking here or at the Village Hall Finance Dept. (361 Happ, second floor). Once the form has been processed, a test transaction (for zero dollar amount) will be created and used to verify the accuracy of your account information. When the words "Auto Pay Date" appear on your water bill, automatic direct debit payments have begun. Once enrolled, your account will be debited on the billing due date unless and until a written notification from you is received to cancel it.
