Summer Youth Programs The Northfield Branch Library helps you keep kids busy this summer with fun programs. To register for the following programs, call the Reference Desk, 847-446-5990.
Saturday, July 12--That Tall Juggler Buy at 2 PM for all ages. An upbeat comedy, juggling, ball spinning, unicycling show with Mike Vondruska and learn juggling basics.
Wednesday, July 16--Game Night - 7:00-7:30 PM for Ages 7 and Up. A fun night of Taboo Jr., Monopoly, Catchaphrase Jr. and more.
Tuesday, August 5--Design Your Own Fairy Tale Character - 10 AM for Agest 3 and Up. Registration required.
2nd Annual "Studio 60093" Video Contest for Students Grades K-12 If you want an exciting summer, the Library is hold a "make your own video" contest for budding directors and actors. Entries are invited in three categories: Animation, Live Action or a Commercial promoting the Library. Videos must not exceed 5 minutes (including credits). Videos entered in the Commercial Category must be between 30-90 seconds in length and include the sentence "We're up when you are: 24-hours a day." All entries are due by 9 PM Tuesday, November 11, 2008 a the Main Library, 768 Oak Street in Winnetka.
